Top 10 Blogs of 2014 That Will Impact Your 2015
By Raul Rivera
In 2014, we had the privilege of serving thousands of churches and ministries across the nation. We saw pastors and leaders respond and answer the call that God has placed upon their lives. A couple of weeks ago we compiled a list of the most read blogs that we believe will help impact and empower you and your ministry in 2015. Through “The Advisor” emails, which go out to over 60,000 pastors and church leaders on a weekly basis, we have taught church leaders how to navigate the current legal landscape. Here at StartCHURCH, we firmly believe that 2015 is the year for your church to expand!
As previously mentioned, we recently compiled a list of the most read blogs of 2014 that will help impact and empower you in this new year. The most read blogs often had to do with empowering pastors and church leaders with the knowledge to confidently interact with the law in an administrative manner. Blogs such as “3 Costly Mistakes to Avoid When Paying Pastoral Salary” and “Love Offerings Directly to Pastor Spell IRS Trouble” empowered ministers with the knowledge of how to establish a compliant salary. We also released a blog entitled “10 Do’s and Don’ts of Tax Deduction Receipts” teaching ministers and their financial teams about the administrative responsibilities involved with giving receipts. Another popular topic dealt with how to properly handle the tithes and offerings received, expounded on through blogs such as “Court Says Church Cannot Keep Tithes” and “How the IRS Looks at a Pastor’s Salary”. Throughout 2014, it was our honor and privilege to serve thousands of pastors and church leaders who have been called to lead in such a time as this.
Benjamin Franklin once said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” When you take the time to read our blogs, you are preparing and empowering yourself to protect the vision and dream that God has given you. I want to encourage you with the knowledge that we are here for you, ready to serve you, and I want to personally extend an invitation for you to join us this year at one of our Ultimate Church Structure Conferences.
